For our date last night, Jared had the brilliant idea to try the new Kobe Japanese Steakhouse here in Columbia. What a great time! They cook everything for you on the super hot grill in front of your eyes. There was soup, salad, fried or steamed rice, veggies, noodles, chicken and shrimp -- plus the entree you ordered. I had the chicken and jared had the steak (which we swapped and shared some of each). The funny thing was that our "japanese" Teppanyaki chef with all his wild knife throwing and flame flying was actually Mexican! He was pretty good though, for probably just learning this ancient art form. Thanks Jared for a super fun date and delicious meal! This pretty much makes up for all the times our date night has included a trip to the Home Depot or Sam's Club.
